Fleas & Worms


We recommend that all guests are regularly treated for fleas and worms.  We do not administer flea and worm treatment as standard however any cats showing signs of either will be treated with veterinary prescribed products at the owners cost.


Vets


Our priority is the health and well being of all the cats that come to stay with us.  In order to ensure this we require signed authorisation to treat your cat in the event of them becoming unwell.  We ask that you equip us with as much background information on your cat as possible so that we are fully informed and able to act quickly whilst avoiding unnecessary trips to the vet.

Our veterinary care is provided by Downland Veterinary Group Barnham, with on-call services run from the Bognor Regis branch.  Where possible we will try to consult with your cat’s usual vet prior to any treatment.

 

Food and Care

Food


Food is included in our prices unless your cat is on a prescription diet.

We try to provide the same diet that your cat is used to at home.


With permission, guests are also offered treats of fresh chicken and fish during their stay. Where no preference is given we ensure that we are stocked with plenty of variety of wet and dry foods to tempt even the most fussy eaters.


Mealtimes are twice daily unless special requirements are needed.

Medication


We are happy to administer simple medication such as tablets, eye drops food supplements – however we regret we are unable to board diabetic cats or those requiring injections. 


TLC


As a small cattery we are able to ensure personal attention to your cat during their stay.  We put aside specific time to socialise with our guests on a daily basis – this may be grooming, playtime, just a cuddle or just a chat depending on your cats personality, likes and dislikes.
